First-time use. Good taste for dried food

Tried a couple of these packs camping in windy 20 degree weather. Tasted good, easy to prepare using my little solid-fuel stove. But the next meal, I cooked in a pan rather than letting it sit for the 15 minutes in its foil-lines pouch (it was too cold).
