Made from an original found at auction, the Windlass Steelcrafts German WWII Dress Fire Axe is an accurate replica of the German WWII dress axe used by fire brigades for parade and were often engraved for presentation. It has a high carbon steel head with a 3 1/2” unsharpened blade and a black painted hardwood handle shaft. The replica axe is 17 1/2” in overall length.
