I ordered this with one of the sales discounts. I had looked at it for sometime. I was impressed with some of the video reviews of this knife. It has a nice feel to it. It is not a cheap knife. This is a value added knife in my opinion. A great combat knife in a dagger mode - made for stabbing. The blade was sharp. This will not disappoint.

I got it a while back but SHARP out of the box ,such supreme cutting power ,one of the best tantos in my arsenal

I have both versions of the blade and I love the black one more. I love how it look and it's also a tough blade. The grip is nice and textured for good grip. It comes sharp enogh to cut paper but it could be sharpened even more if need to. I am very happy with this blade. I know it's only 440 but is well made and I am sure the tempering treatment is far better than other budget knives.

This blade is awesome. Strong light balanced and is a true killing tool. Might be useful for some light bush craft, but the weight is perfect for combat and that's how it fits in my system. A simple adjustment of the sheath allows fast draw. The sheath is not well designed in regards to this style guard. By snapping the retainer on the belt loop side the blade will catch and not release w/o a firm draw. Have heard that this is a budget knife. Have found it to be one of the best I have purchased at any price. Highly recommend this one.

Awesome knife! Just got it today. Shipping is amazing, ordered it Monday night and got it Thursday morning. But back to the knife. It's great, a great weight, great length and it just feels great in my hand, it feels natural. Definitely combat ready in my opinion. Not super sharp out of the box but that can easily be fixed. Only one minor problem, the handle strap is kind of difficult to close but it can be done. Overall a great budget blade, very pleased!<br /><br />Thanks True Swords! My first impression when I pulled this blade out of the box was "woah, this is huge!". the size of the knife is incredible, and it came out incredibly sharp. The full tang really adds to the feel of the whole blade. I heard a lot of complaint about the handle, but personally, I like it. A great buy, must get.

a very sturdy, comfortable knife. Definetly a great purchase.<br />the sheath's handle strap doeant fit all the way around the handle, so i just cut it off. it doesnt fall out or anything unless u purposely want it to.

I love the length of this blade. I am buying another one, only this time, it will be the steel version, not the black. Like the blade overall, but handle feels odd, perhaps the slippery aspect to the handle. None of the factory oil for the blade dripped onto the handle, it is just made of a weird to the touch textured rubber. Not saying it should give me blisters, but a better grip feel would be nice. The only other aspect to this blade would be a sheath that didn't have an automatic hand guard catch built in. The sheath is nice, thick, well constructed, and I'm sure that other knife fighters like myself will agree, that the button clasp should have been mounted behind the leather, not closest to the surface by the hole. It catches the cross guard too easy. I still give it a hefty 5 points as most of the cons are based on functional preference.

I am very pleased with this knife. I purchased the other version and wanted a low reflectivity knife for night carry so I purchased this knife based on the quality and usefulness of the aforementioned knife.

This is a very good quality, solid knife. I have the same version in plain Stainless. I carry this black knife at night when walking my dogs in my backyard. I had concerns about the reflectivity of the Stainless finish version and when this version was available I bought one and it is Very good at remaining undetected in low light.

This budget tanto is a lot of knife for the money. I decided to grab these during a recent bogo sale and very happy overall. is it perfect, no. while the sheath is a decent leather the strap supposed to secure the handle is not well designed. the handguard pushes against the fit and makes it very difficult to snap secure. At this price point thats not too important. Both of the knives i recieved were very sharp. blade is thicker than i anticipated on the spine and that is a good thing in my opinion considering the length. The handle is ok, in my opinion a little slippery. overall a great buy as a collectible, training, and potentially a tool that could protect you or your family.

Got it in the mail yesterday and man is it huge!! Mine didn't come all that sharp but I can fix that with a little time. Love the shape, handle and non-glare finish. My only concern is that the hilt has some noticeable play in it. Not sure if I should return it or not.
