I bought one for my 100 year old flair gun to put in my bug out bag.. A box of 45cal. JHP and a box of .410 personal Protection rounds.. Who cares if it`s not spot on accurate..It`s for emergency use and much better than a stick...BUT ONE...

I bought this for my Polish M78 HK clone but the insert was not snug. So I had to cut a sleeve out of an aluminum family size five cheese lasagna TV dinner tray and wrapped it one layer around the Sub Caliber insert before inserting it and now it fits perfect.

I bought this for my German Hebel Model 1894 26.5mm flair gun. This thing is over 100 years old and was brought back in WW2 by a U.S. Solider. Its amazing having a practical use for this gun now. I fire .45LC 255 grain out of it and .410 Slugs out of it. My only question, can I use 3" shells out of it? Because I want to use this "Golden Bear .410 Bore 3" 97 Gn Lead Slug Brass Case". Either way, this was one of the best purchases I have ever made. If you are considering this, just buy it. You will never regret it!

this item fit perfect in my german geco flare gun and my new polish flare guns I bought for 70 bucks online!!! most sites are sold out but with a little googling you can find them still!! put a laser site on it for better accuracy... the way that the military flare guns are selling out online I bet these inserts are selling like HotCakes!!!

Happy with purchase nicely made and solid. I was looking into another single shot .410 and 45 LC pistol that was much more this insert was the right fit for my needs. As being an insert shells aren't quickly removed so I wouldn't use it where rapid firing is used.

This is way nicer than it looks in the picture.marked runway. it is a solid heavy duty item and works great. BTW, I read some of the other reviews, this one dropped right into my CZECH VZ44 Flare with no issues at all. EXCELLENT AND A GREAT DEAL FROM BUD K.

I bought one of these and was amazed, I went to gun shop and bought 4/10 shot gun shells and 45 caliber long rifle and fired this thing off, the spread of the 4/10 was pretty large but the 45 long colt bullet, shot straight and the sound was suppressed so much and no kick, yes no kick, I had to use my finger nails to get out the bullet but they did not come pretty easy,, I would buy this, oh I shot it through my flare gun, I bought for 99 dollars, BUY THIS, I AM IMPRESSED

This works better than expected, at close range it shoots to point of aim with both .45 &.410. .45`s went into about a 3 in pattern at about 20 feet, #4 shot didnt spread too bad at same distance, got sights to put on it, a Yugo flare gun.I had to remove the finish from the sub cal and smooth the breech for it to accept the sub cal device. No worse than a snub nose as far as hitting target.

Really like this device. Good for snakes.

This is an excellent product, seconded by a flare gun expert I know. Runway, the manufacturer, also makes .22 and .38 Sub-Caliber Devices (barrel inserts), formerly manufactured by Kennesaw Cannon Company, which legally allows it to shoot that ammunition as well as flares.

It makes a great Snake gun W/.45LC shot shells that I reload.Lower recoil...

GET THIS BEFORE ITS GONE! Kennesaw Cannon company appears to have stopped making this due to pressure from the feds this website is literally the only one that I can find with this product in stock.

Received today and tested in my RV85 CZ Flare gun. Functioned well, however we had to pound out each spent .410 shell (Remington sport loads) with an old cleaning rod section. And, I do mean pound, several hard whacks on a table to knock it loose. No way could a person pry it out with a knife blade. I'm going to try polishing up the chamber. Didn't try a .45LC round.

The .410 shot pattern is Left, THEN right, high, low etc. not good. Don't waste your money.

The device I received was not manufactured by Kennesaw Cannon Co. as advertised, but made by Runway. The Runway version may be as good as, or even better than the Kennesaw Cannon version; I don;t know. What I do know is that this is not what I thought I was buying, so I returned it.
