"Awesome canteens; actually holds a full gallon of water in which normally is enough for a warm hiking day. I bought two of these, one for my step son and one for myself and we went back packing this past Friday to mid-day Saturday and the canteen did not run out of water on us. Given it was only a warm 65 degrees and not summer yet. Summer you may need a refill but overall it carries plenty of water for your hiking needs and I am totally happy with the purchase and great price"
