Better than expected

M48, like most United Cutlery products, use 2CR13mov or 3CR13mov steels. Which aren't really that great. However, I've been trying to get more mid-ranged steels like 8CR13mov, AUS-8, 440-C...etc. This knife was a steal for the price, for sub $30, you won't be able find a deal like this very easily. Good steel, the handle feels very grippy, and the bearings are good. It was very sharp and didn't need any break-in out the box. Would buy again.

Fantastic E.D.C. Knife!

I got this Free with the July 1st. Special Sale with Any M48 Purchase! Came Sharp right out of The Box, Love the TPU Handles, there was a Trace of Oil coming out of the Base of the Blade which tells me the Manufacturer Cared Enough about their Product to Pre-Oil the barrings! Light Weight, but yet Sturdy. This is my New EDC! Thanks Again BUDK from another Satisfied and Loyal Customer! :)

Not bad, but not great

When I think M48, I think or descriptive words like: rugged, solid, strong, etc. This knife doesn't feel as robust as any of the other M48 products I have (and I have many). That being said, it is lightweight. The blade is sharp and the overall form is comfortable, but I have no confidence it wouldn't break under high stress. It has no spring assist, and it requires a flick of the wrist to open. Overall, I think if M48 had put another few hours of design into this blade, it would have been great.

Battle Born Pocket Knife review

I liked it. It opened easily. Closed well too. I liked the shape of it. It fits well in the pocket, doesn't get in the way, and it stays put. I haven't experienced any sliding or movie g around. That may be because it's still new. I'm satisfied.

This is a very nice knife. Very sharp out of the box. I replaced my everyday carry knife with this knife as soon as I recieved it.

Ok knife

Nice design, good grip the downside is the mechanism that releases blade sticks on the item I got. Not a smooth release at all. Overall it’s an ok knife not my EDC but ok in my toolbox or day pack
