Been trying to find this one for some time now. The design is beautiful, the opening mechanism is quick, and etching on the blade is powerful.
Split the price with a buddy, and I have used it as a work knife. Durable and the assist holds up. Sharpens well and can take a beating. If you are looking for a work knife buy it!
Great knife and tool to have in your pocket for those just in case times when you need to break a window or cut a seat belt. I have used a regular bladed knife to cut a seat belt and was worried about cutting the person I was trying to get out of an upside down car. This if needed will take that worry out of the equation. I have purchased several for friends of mine in the same line of work.
This buy one and get one free is a great bargain. It's like going to Publix food market where they always have have buy one and one free.
Bought 2 got 2 free!! Its a great knife for the price!! Very sharp right out of the box. Will buy more for gifts this year for those who keep borrowing mine!!!!
I bought 6 of these knives 5 for kin and one for myself. I have had buck, case and many others. and this is by for the best knife i have own, besides my bayonet.;in vietnan.
I purchased a pair of these knives and 2 Smith & Wesson knives. The Patriot is by far my favorite knife. I love the way you hardly have to push the blade forward and it opens so fast with very little effort. The blade sharpens very well and keeps it's edge.
no complaints, its the only one I carry out of the six other styles of knifes I bought from kennesaw
Great knife at a great price . Best thing is its buy 1 get one free . Solid feel and sharp out of the box . I would like it better if it was a solid black but I'm completely satisfied with it .
Received my knives last week and they are great, a little stiff at first but after opening and closing it a few times it loosened up nicely. The blade was nice and sharp, cut through 1/2" rope like butter
I also bought this BOGO. The got knives and gave one to my son. SGT. SEAN REGNIER 8-1 cav. 2nd I.D. He thinks it is great.
This is an awesome knife I work at a warehouse and use this knife almost every day. My fellow co-workers like to borrow it so much I Got 12 of them for gifts for all of them.
Awesome knife, even if made in China !!! Very sharp blade and just flick it open with thunmb and index finger tabs. I bought 10 as gifts. I will by more. I have one in my truck and on ME !!!! Thanks BUDK. I give it a 5 Star rating.
Purchased this knife at an incredible bargain price and was very impressed. It is nicely weighted and came with a very nice edge. Very sharp detailing on the handle and blade.
Its A Great knife, I Use Mine On A Daily Basis, The Extra 1 that I recieved I Gave To My Best Friend SFC J. Cook. He Also Carries His Everyday As Well!
I received the knives very fast. I'm enjoying using one as my personal carry. The material and craftsmanship is excellent.
of my extensive knife collection, this is the one I choose to carry, It has what is needed for safety, the blade sharpens up nicely, the seatbelt cutter and glass breaker are safety minded, and the price is great.
Both knives arrived sharp and in excellent condition, they have a nice weight and the assisted open mech. is fast. As usual with Budk, my order arrived right on time. I highly recommend this knife.
This is a great knife, it feels great in the hand and I love the assisted opening mechanism. The actual color of the knife is darker than it is shown in the picture, I like it more. I have not used the glass breaker or seatbelt cutter yet but they both look functional. Overall its a great knife for the price, I suggest you buy one!
Best knife I own right now hands down. Everywhere I go, this thing goes. I use this thing on average about 15-20 times a day and it never fails and never complains. I WILL be ordering this again.
This is a very well made knife. Far exceeded my expatiation. Now that I have touched it I wished I ordered more. It is a great survival tool for the glove compartment. You never know when you may drive into a pool. And not a carpool.
The spring assistance is amazing. Opens like lightning. The only thing I have to complain is that when I got it it wasn't the two for one deal I hope they send me another one.
Bought while on a 2 for 1 sale a couple weeks ago. For the price I paid it was a steal!! I like the way the knife operates and it came very sharp. I would recommend buying a couple. Even at the current price it is worth it! Good Quality.
Good knife, and 2 for 1 to boot! The seat belt cutter is mostly for show, but who really cares, it's a knife, just use the blade. Window breaker works, trust me on that one. Only complaint is that the screws tend to loosen up after repeated deployment, also the screws on the clip, but just loctite those suckers and your golden! Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Opens fast, VERY sharp, Great price! Everything they advertise it to be!
This is actually my son Sam writing the review, not me.

well, I got this as a birthday present for my dad, and long story short, he was satisfied with it. the spring assist is really useful, and it comes WAAAAY sharper than most other knives come out of the packaging. it makes a bold statement about it's owner's patriotism, which is why I got it for my dad. we were amused, however, when we noticed the "handcrafted in china" on the blade, lol. yeah, epic irony aside though, it's a really good knife, definitely worth the price, even with the shipping cost. I totally recommend it.
I ordered two of these on first order. One of them was in excellent condition, but the other did not lock in place.

Pros: Worth 10 dollars due to multifunctioning usage. Sturdy grip and windshield breaker. Seat belt cutter does not need sharpening because it is already razor-sharp.

Cons: One may have to take apart the knife to sharpen the seat belt cutter. I fear that one day the knife lock will snap off if I inact too much force on it.

Conclusion: Overall, it is a good knife for self defense and rescue tool.
Definitely worth the price, razor sharp right out of the box, great construction, still crisp after a few hundred flips, and even if it does eventually break, you have a second one.
I love this knife, it's durable and comes pretty sharp out of the box. The first few times I opened the knife, I had to open it with force otherwise it wouldn't lock, but no big deal. I bought 2 of these and I might buy more to sell. I highly recommend buying this!
Wow! this knife is fast. I love it! It came sharp right out of the box. The utility of this knife is hard to match. Highly recommended!
Great knife. Only thing i have to say about it is that the spring started to get a little loose after a few uses. Though i was jacking around with it for awhile. Luckily i haven't had the chance to use the seat belt cutter or the window breaker, and hopefully never will.

Overall great buy and would defiantly get it again.
Heavy knife (all steel?) and well made. Fairly sharp out of the box and flips open easily. Well worth the price. Highly recommended.
Very handy pocket knife , impressed considering how inexpensive it was. I would recommend it to anyone use tired of loseing the expressive ones
Sharp knife bad*** looking only bad thing I can say is that it opens very easily which can be kinda dangerous or awesome depending on the person!
Nice cheap knife. I got two and placed one in each of my vehicles. They operate easily and came with a reasonably sharp edge. The blade on one was a bit stiff at first but now works fine after a few openings. I've seen other people put these down, but they (and YOU the buyer) need to understand that Ridge Runner brand knives aren't Gil Hibben knives, so don't expect them to be. These knives are well constructed and they surpassed my expectations for the price.
I Had Wanted This For a While, But Waited Till It Was Offered as A BOGO, And The Wait was Worth It. I Like Ridge Runner To Begin With, And This Knife Just Solidifies My Choice. It Came With an Edge, However I Need Razor..And A FINE Smith Stone And 5 Mins And That's What I Got, These Knives Take An Edge So Easy. These Knives Are Now So Sharp, You Have To Handle Them the Same Way You Would Handle a Razor Blade. Get A Pair...! Oh..And The Dont Tread On Me, On The Blade...yea... It Says, And Reminds Me Of Who I Am...And What It Means To Be A PATRIOT...
Nice knife. It arrived sharp and have had no problems with the spring assist failing as I have had with others.
These knives are great except for one thing, the second knife opened much slower than the other knife but besides that its great!
Decent knife with spring assist but i wish it had a thumb tab on the back spine for the flip out vx. a side pin.
Surprisingly, this knife is very good -- especially considering the price. I find the "don't tread on me" and American flag badge nonsense a bit tacky (especially since it sports an equally large "Handcrafted in China" on the reverse of the blade) but performance wise this knife is excellent. I was expecting a $5 spring assist folder to be terrible, but this one isn't. The spring assist is strong and consistent, there is actually nearly zero blade wobble, the material and shape of the handle feels excellent, and the pocket clip is near perfect. The overall shape and features of this knife make it seem like a derivation or clone of various very high-end MOD knives, just made cheaper and with American flag badges slapped on. This isn't a bad thing; The knurled ridge on the blade and trigger like protrusion on the handle combine to form almost a crossguard when the knife is open, making overhand grips feel very secure and confident. Unfortunately, you're just as likely to poke and hurt yourse
The knife is a little darker color than the picture, it still looks sweet, but the main strew comes loose, just tighten it and your ready to go. Good knife, not too good of quality, but its still all over a good knife. Another plus is with the spring assist, its easy one handed opening, so if one hand is occupied, its easy and fast. The last thing is that the glass breaker point gets in the way, and I haven't found a use for the seat belt cutter.
Built very well, very sharp. Spring assist opens with authority, fast as a switch blade. I got 'em 2 for $9.99. Great deal, I'm buying 2 more to use as gifts. Excellent inexpensive knives.
One of the 2 knives shipped was perfect. One was FAR FROM PERFECT. It didn't open properly, didn't lock properly, & then wouldn't unlock once it finally locked. I had to disassemble the knife, shave down the base of the blade & reassemble before it would work. That wreaks of poor quality control at the manufacturing level. Clearly the knife was never tested for performance. Bottom line - if you are lucky enough to get a good one it's great. If not, you'll be returning this knife for either a replacement or a refund.
This is a sharp and awesome knife but the screw does loosen and to me it slows after awhile but then you tighten it and its fine. And there is no lock so when i have it in my pocket it opens.
The knife arrived dull, no big deal. the spring assist doesn't quite get the blade all the way to lock. After several times of opening and closing the screw came loose. BudK hasn't done me wrong with anything else and I just haven't bought anything made by ridge runner since. My advice is to spend a few extra bucks and get a quality knife from smith and wesson or Mtech.
***WARNING*** Check these closely before use and especially before giving any away. Both mine have defective liner lock mechanisms that will allow the blade to fail to lock completely. Both mine will allow the blade to unlock and close on the user's hand with only a fairly light downward blow on the spine of the blade will cause it to unlock and close. I fiddled with it but never could get reliable operation. It is a shame as the blade is shaped nicely and had a nice point. Never assume a liner lock will hold but give it a workout - especially if you are going to give one away.
