this cup is good it have lot of use's i going test out in survival training look big enough to cook few thing's in it like soup and a egg or rice or noodle's have more say after it then give better review on this
This is my third one...My first was stolen/lost...and I have one in my long term camping supplies and one in my roughing it or short term camping...great from anything to hot coffee to mixing. That is what I like about it more than anything...just a great mixing bowl...mix together eggs...or powder pancake mix and water...it's just perfect for that...so sturdy, strong..never rusts...beware of cheap foreign knock offs...it has to be Coghlan's Jumbo Sierra Cup.
There are lots of Asian knock-offs with crumpled rims (from bending the metal over the wire handle) which leaves nasty sharp points. Those are simply unusable. Further, they are of lower-quality stainless, and are not as light and durable. Don't go there. So far, the Coghland's has been by far the best, highest-quality, jumbo Sierra Cup on the market. And you do want a Jumbo. The original Sierra cup was a good idea but 8 oz. is far too small. The actual Jumbo will hold 16 oz. which is much more practical, as you can actually put it on your stove and cook in it. BUT... before buying, make sure you are getting the true Jumbo, 16-oz. cup, not the bastard mid-sized 13.whatever - oz. thing which some people have complained about.
