The wife commondeered the package when it arrived and is crocheting an outfit for the grandson. I'll report back when I see the finished product. Always enjoy the products I have ordered. Keep up the great job! Robert.
I like this yarn, and have bought several bundles of it. It takes a few to make a complete ghillie suit, but the sniper vale is the better choice. Also, it's best to combine other materials with it such as burlap strips, and leaves made from bug netting. Be creative. There are a ton of possibilities!
It was a lot thinner then, say hot pad makin yarn. I needed the thick fluffy stuff. But it has great colors.
good quality yarn,.nice color variety, in shades that make it easy to create a reversible three or four season Ghillie,..I used the survival hammock as my netting base and wove and tied yarn bundles in series, Using two definitive patterns for each side of the hammock profile. greener yarns for spring \summer, lighter and ruddy browns for autumn, winter. the duel patterns work pretty good,.. planning a purchase of another several (or more) package bundles for a rifle sock and a position or blind cover,.., fair yarn strand strength,. .... make sure your knots double over onto themselves for secure tie downs,. shorter lengths, 6-8 inches worked best for mine,..
