Great book

I have the first edition. Back to Basic book. I have taken part of the prepping community and as member of the California State Militia i approve this hand book. The topics it covers and the illustrations are the best around. I have read multiple books but for the number one book to place in your self reliance box this is in the trunk of tricks. Higly recommended.

Must Have Book

A MUST have book for learning all of the early pioneer / survival skills. If you're planning on living off the land or going off the grid, this book has it all. I checked this book out of the library so many times that they would no longer let me check it out and I had to buy my own. No regrets! It's one of my favorites for teaching from, at Sustainacycle's Sustainable Living Center at Kyle.
