MAN!! You, ORANGUTANS, are hard to please but, then I guess, 'ya need good stuff in order to hack-down all those trees and chase all those ZOMBIES. These come as a set of 2 mounted in 2 thick leather sheathes on a waist belt. I cut one off leaving one on the belt and cut out a belt loop on the other sheath. How's that for TEXAS engineering? Now, these 2 KUKRIS cost 30 bucks which is $15 each and on top of that, they BOGOed us which gets it down to $7.50 per unit then I got 25% off plus my 10% BUYERS CLUB, so the unit cost was down to 5 bucks each. Boy, am I proud of myself. I stole those 10plus inch bladed KUKRIS from CLINT without even holding a gun on him. This may be the best buy I've ever made at
I like this piece so much I got 2 of them. Not the best made set of knives but a very nice display piece. I also have the UltraViolt and the Blade swords. Alice's Kukri set is a nice addition to my collection.
I wasn't expecting much from these as all I want them for is training purposes. These did come sharp enough to cut skin. They are perfect for my needs training/learning to use them. I wouldn't buy these with the intentions of killing anything. Buy these for trainers and get a good set to keep sharp!
Razor sharp, or dang near it. As soon as I get any new blades, I run my finger up the blade to test sharpness, and cut my finger on it. Only bad thing about the set is the sheath. Not as advertised, but also not great quality. Will need to make new sheaths, and use a longer belt. Other than that, I like them. Most of the use will be for conventions(cosplay) or decoration(hanging on my wall) but will possibly be used for outdoor chores. All in all, great product.
Got these yesterday. They are of good enough quality for what I intend to use them for. You will need to make a new sheath for them out of quality leather, which I knew before I bought and had already planned on doing. I did not get exactly what is shown in the picture, but it is close enough for me. Overall, I would buy these as a gift for a friend.
First idea of the item that it would come with a little bit better sheath for them but it was just cheap pleather. And the the handles to the blade felt like a cheap plastic not at all what I expected. But yo get what you pay for
I was a little skeptical, but upon opening the box I was not disappointed. My blades were sharp and they seemed sturdy. The only issues I had were with the belt. It is advertised as a shoulder sheath but it is obvious it should be worn around the waist. I am skinny so it is a little awkward to put on. Also, one of the rivets fell off as soon as I tried it on. It should be an easy fix though. Overall I am quite satisfied.
i was excited about this set when i opened it christmas morning last year, then come to find out the blades were dull and wont cut through a wet paper bag. They do not say "false edged".
