How to get a solar charge?!

I’ve had my solar charger in the sun and, at night, under an electric light for days! Can not get more than one blue light! The green light tells me it’s charging (supposedly), but no results. What’s up with that? Am I doing something wrong? Very disappointing.
Response: You will need to charge the item by the USB first. Then you can place it in the sun.

I’ve been solar-charging my 8000 & also by reading light. Hard to tell if fully charged; can’t get 4 blue LEDs lit. I plugged into wall socket and got 4 LEDs lighting in sequence ( right to left). Waiting to see if the LEDs will all show full charge illumination/vague directions for charging time info. Works well though- quick charge my I6 phone.

It's a good buy

So I received mine the other day. And although I was kinda disappointed that is was broken (which I dont believe was budk's fault) it still seemed like it was a great product it has a really durable case, the solar cell looks like it is made to be put through heavy use. All in all if the product came in unbroken I think it would be a great item for any hiker or outdoorsman. 5 out of 5 Also just wanted to add In here that BUDK customer service was fast and polite and resolved the issue fast.

Charged a tablet.

Charged a kindle fire hd10. Took the pack down to 2.5 out of 4. This is appropriate. Put it in a patch of sun to check out the solar charging. Didn't time it . A little while later it was charged. 1 high power 1 low power usb output. Love it
