overall size is excellent for ccw i find 7" blades a bit long and sub-5" blades don't give me confidence they'll be effective, so 5" range is what i find optimal for ccw. a functional "grab & stab" SHEATH is critical for ccw and this plastic insert & knife combo is excellent on that. its knuck has great ergos i wish i could buy the knuck itself also, it's better than most knucks. quality of nylon portion and pants clip is not great, but design is good and you can easily replicate the nylon with better material even leather with little difficulty. despite looking "bada**ery" this product has irl functionality for self-d, it's not a foolish toy it's a blade you can ccw WELL, and can help save your life. you can iwb it sans-harness. you can easily make other ways to hang it inside a coat (chicago screws + paracord). upside-down this sheath HOLDS it safely.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
