I love this axe. When i got it i was a bit surprized because it had a black axe head instead of the red. But after a little while i really started to like it for that. I have use it for chopping branches ripping down drywall and so far its holding up beautifully. Great product at an amazing price.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I love this axe! One of the best i've ever purchesed.I also love the desine on the axe. The only thing is the coating on the axe head was hard to take off, and kinda dull. But other than that, greatest axe ever!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

It looks great, a bit smaller than I thought. It has some good weight, but the blade is rounded off: dull, dull, dull. Other than the dull blade, it is a very good value. I am going to look into sharpening the blade. With a sharp blade this axe will be a very serious tool.

Fantastic buy. My one complaint, is that the glue is showing :l Other than that, very sturdy and seems like it was built to last.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a great ax, I was surprised at how well it splits small logs. Because of the blade shape the logs just about explode. Big enough to do serious work with ..clearing mesquite cutting back large limbs...putting in a supply of small wood for the chimenia, but small enough to carry on your pack painted the whole ax with Krylon flat tan paint built a sheath and this too is now part of my carry anywhere gear. I always sharpen an ax to suit myself so its relative sharpness on arrival is irrelevant to me. I would recommend this little ax for camping or demolition or just regular grounds maintenance. I have used it alot since purchase and am quite satisfied for what it is. It will not replace my ol' double bit or my hawk but is perfectly fills that slot in between.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Same as other reviews, dull as a butter knife, and badly chipped paint / blade, both easy fixes. Food for thought don't package them in a box 2 times larger than the axe with nothing but a small wad of paper in the box w-it. (wrap the blade) Box was DESTROYED when I received it hence chips and dings all over axe. Overall I think I can make it something, it does look like once it is sharpened it will be an amazing axe that will definitely last.

We invested a quick $20.00 into this product; don't get me wrong the axe is great for our intended purposes. However, we figured from the picture this was a little heavier duty than a pruning axe. It has a great rubber coated handle and the pick is definitely the investment compared to a traditional axe. Overall good product and for the price you can't go wrongWould you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Excellent piece of equipment for the price. Any reviews citing its dullness don't understand what it it, a fire axe. The spike on one side is large, flat, and heavy duty. Its design is excellent for taking on drywall and what lyes beyond it. The axe blade on it is dull. It is not for firewood, to make it that you would need to work it there. It is however thick enough to resist damage when smashing into mixed materials. The handle is a nice composite with a rubber grip, feels solid in hand. For the price and style it can't be beat. Remember, it's a fire axe.

I loved it! It is perfect sized and I had no chips in the paint. The front side of the axe was a little dull but if you make it to sharp it chips. But the back side isn't pointed but flat but It's really sharp and good to take down walls.

The Axe was not sharp at all, and there was some chipping to the paint. However, it was more than I expected, I was looking for a small safety axe that was larger than a camp axe, smaller than an normal sized axe that would fit in my trunk, it was just that. Right size for the right price, and it arrived sooner than I expected. I can sharpen it myself... TOO EASY!!!
