Well, it's paracord. It boasts a 550lb test, so I tested it using a game gambrel I have with pullies. I held onto the gambrel, and had my wife and kids pull me up, I weigh 206 lbs, and the paracord gave no stretch, it held my weight easily. I was impressed because, when you see the cord, and it's diameter, you think, "no way this can hold 550 lbs". And although I haven't had the chance to hoist 550 lbs up, I'm pretty sure it will hold. Good buy. Glad I bought 6 packages of the stuff.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

As said, this product is great. only $4 for 50 feet and $7 for 100 puts this in a price range that is good even for a starving college student. the only thing i dont like is that the colors are limited. in fact, they dont even have my schools colors. if black savage would add a few more colors like purple and white, i would definitely use them as a supplier.Would you recommend this to a friend? Every survivalist needs to have some strong, durable rope. This is both. I can use it for trapping, stabilizing shelter, or if need be to rappel. Definite recommendation.

This stuff is awesome. I have a small re-curve bow I needed string for, I made It out of this. Will shoot an arrow hard! And a good price for real paracord.
