Great fixed blade knife, unbeatable price. Like the prior reviews, I noticed it doesn't fit over the flash hider. Great tips there on opening it to fit correctly. As noted, a person can use a Dremel tool/die grinder, or a drill bit that matches current A2 muzzles. I bought two, and it looks good on my .300 Fireball/Blackout upper!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I read the reviews about the size of the flash hider hole but it was worse than I had assumed. My guess was that the punch tooling used to make the hole was worn out but no, it's obviously designed as the wrong size. I have five A2 flash hiders and all of them measure very close to .860" diameter. The hole in the bayonet measured .740", so it took more die grinder work than I expected. Other than that (and how prominent the "china" stamp is) I l like it. It's sturdy, all of the parts fit together well, and it looks good on a stainless barreled rifle. The sheath is exactly what you expect on a $10 knife. Functional Overall, it's better than I'd expect for the price.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a very good bayonet. Yes, the hole that the flash hider goes through is too small, but that is easily fixed. Blade is awesome. A very good buy for $9.99.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Yes, the previous reviews are right about the inside diameter of the flash suppressor hole. Borrow a Dremel and fix it. It will be worth fifteen minutes of your time - unless you make doctor's wages. I favor this purchase almost as much as my twenty-dollar kukri. It's no wonder China is beating us so badly at production.. This Chinese bayonet = good for you / bad for the American industrial effort. Plus, this looks really "sharp" on a mid-length upper.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a very serious bayonet. Yes, the hole that the flash hider goes through is too small, but that is easily fixed. I removed the plastic grips and sanded the insides a little so they fit better. Blade is AWESOME, and is dangerous after being sharpened properly. A very good buy for $9.99, and outclases the original bayonet by far.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Great look on my m16 as well as m4. I had to make the hole larger using drill press to fit over the muzzle brake on both rifles, but looks great on.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Okay, as a Bayonet: Not Mil-Spec. But $10. This is a long, heavy, HUGE bayonet. Keep it in mind. And read all the other bayonet comments. Rick Starr's review on 18 Nov 2014 gives you the big fix. Read all the reviews, read the helpful ones. Other than that, the clip springs are seriously weak. So I call it more for show than go. Now, as a Knife: If you want a honking big knife deal, Buy! Buy! Buy! I dissed this as a bayonet but for a 14" long, 9" bladed pig sticker this is just awesome. One piece of metal from tip to under the pommel. Not a full width tang, but a full tang none the less. My eyes and ruler are calling blade thickness a solid 3/16 inch. If you break break or bend this blade you are doing something seriously wrong. Sheath is nicely made real leather, could use a few rivets, but the sheath is worth at least $5 of the $10 if not the full $10. My only minor whine is the grip. If yours arrives loose or funky, or it's loose after you put it back together, it is assembled wrong. The grip scales go on ONE way. Mine came upside down. Stepped slot goes towards the pommel, straight slot towards the guard. Doesn't fit right that way? Then it's the spot welds on the finger guard messing up your day. Just file or sand a tiny bit off the center plastic grip where the welds are. Not the welds, the plastic. Mine set into place perfectly with 3 hand file strokes on one of the scales. Minor stuff. $10 Pig Sticker with Leather Sheath.Worth the trouble. As long as you have a Phillips Screwdriver, you can fix this. Rub the plastic on the corner of a concrete step, brick, or course stone. Those grips. The only cheap thing on this low cost deal. But no worse than some of the early plastic/bake-lite US issue materials. Better than the U.S. issue Korean Bayonets. And to make up for this, the grip screws are true barrel screws. That should keep you from cracking the scales and make DIY scales a breeze to put on. A drop of Lock-tite and you are good to go. Hope this helped.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
